This month, the participation of CERENA in an international consortium to reinforce Europe’s strategic autonomy in critical raw materials was announced.
GREENMETALS MAPPING is an innovation platform that reinforces Europe’s strategic autonomy in critical raw materials by delivering a European-scale digital infrastructure for AI-powered resource intelligence. It responds to the urgent need to reduce dependency on non-EU supply, and ensure data traceability and environmental accountability, in line with the EU Green Deal and the Critical Raw Materials Act. The platform integrates artificial intelligence from end to end - from data preparation and geological modelling to valuation, institutional reporting, and user interaction.
