Carla Queirós received her PhD in 2019, in Forestry Engineering and Natural Resources at Instituto Superior de Agronomia (University of Lisbon), on “Lignocellulosic Biomass for a New Generation of Thermal Fluids”. She also has a bachelor and Master degree in Technological Chemistry at Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. At present, she is a Researcher at the Centre for Natural Resources and the Environment (CERENA, IST) and Centro de Química Estrutural (CQE, FCUL) focusing her research in the study on the valorization of biomass and the determination thermophysical properties of different materials.
