Rosana V. Pinto obtained her PhD in Chemistry from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Moisés Pinto and Prof. Fernando Antunes, focusing on the study of porous materials for the therapeutic delivery of nitric oxide. She then joined Université de Mons (Belgium) and Institut des Matériaux Poreux de Paris (IMAP) (France) as a postdoctoral fellow, working on the synthesis, scale-up, and shaping of MOF materials and composites for CO2 capture under the mentorship of Prof. Guy de Weireld and Dr. Cristian Serre. Later, at IMAP, she also worked in the design of MOFs and hybrid materials for CO2 catalytic conversion. In 2025, she joined CERENA (IST) as junior researcher.
