Beatriz Trindade Barrocas. Completed the PhD in Chemistry in 2020 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências, Master in Chemistry - Specialization in Chemistry in 2014 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências and Bachelor degree in Technological Chemistry - Materials and environment in 2011 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências. In 2020, she moved to Institute of Environmental Technology, VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Czech Republic as a researcher. Her research interests have been focussed on the synthesis and characterization of nanocrystalline semiconductors and in their application mainly for pollutants photocatalytic degradation. Currently, her area of interest is the utilization of functionalized semiconductor nanomaterials for the photocatalytic reduction of CO2, photocatalytic generation of H2, photocatalytic decomposition of methanol and emergent pollutants photocatalytic degradation. Currently, she is a Researcher in CERENA.
