PhD degree in Earth-Resources obtained at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, 2015), in collaboration with the Institute of Petroleum Engineering of Heriot Watt University (Scotland, UK), with thesis subject in Optimized History Matching. with Non-stationary Geostatistical Modelling. BSc and MSc in Mining and Geological Engineering concluded at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, Portugal, 2007). Geomodeler at Partex Oil and Gas since 2012, holding a position in the Exploration and New Ventures department, working in different seismic inversion, static modelling and reservoir characterization studies, mainly in the Middle East and Brazil. Mentor of trainees from Petroleum Institute (Abu Dhabi, UAE) and Master Petroleum Engineering (Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon). Geoscience Researcher at CERENA from 2007 until 2012, with relevant work experience on reservoir characterization projects, seismic inversion, geostatistical modelling and uncertainty quantification. Teaching assistance of “Oil and Gas” course, MSc degree in Mining and Geological Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon, 2007,2008, 2009). Author and co-author of several publications on reservoir characterization studies, seismic inversion, geostatistical modelling and optimized history matching, as well as speaker at several technical international conferences.
