Luísa Marques received a Chemistry degree in 2007 and a master's degree in Applied Chemistry in 2008 from the University of Évora. In November 2015, she obtained her PhD in Chemistry from the same university, aligned with the Portuguese Technology Platform for Reduction of CO2 Emissions. Between 2016 and 2017, she was management support at KIC InnoEnergy - International Affairs Office. Between 2017 and 2020, she worked as a post-doctoral researcher in LARSyS (LAboratory of Robotics and SYStems in Engineering and Science) in the Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research (IN+), Laboratory of Thermofluids, Combustion and Energy Systems, at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. Since July 2020, she has worked as a researcher for c5Lab - Sustainable Construction Materials Association. Her scientific research interest, as main researcher and project manager, is focused on CO2 capture and Carbon Utilisation - Green Fuels & Chemicals.
