Ph.D. student in the Doctoral Program in Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP), beginning in September 2024 with research on The Dispersion of Asbestos Fibers in Unconfined Environments: Behavioral Analysis and Risk Management Strategies. Graduated in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Science and Technology, with a master’s degree completed in 2014 at the State University of Santa Cruz, Brazil. Has been a professor at the Federal Institute of Bahia for 10 years, teaching in the Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering and Technical Environmental programs.
