Two CERENA scientists were invited to present their work at the 3rd INTERNATIONAL MULTIDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE ON Polymers & Chemistry.
Abeer Mohtar presented "Innovative Materials for Energy Efficient Solutions in Cultural Heritage Preservation". As a result of the NEMOSINE project, and as part of a new project that is being coordinated by CERENA, this research shows how to improve the presevation of traditional culture heritage by reducing the energy consumption while extending the lifetime of the artefacts.
Rui Galhano Dos Santos talked about sustainable materials and circularity. In his presentation titled "Transforming Nature into Sustainable Resources: Innovation in Biomass-Derived Products", Rui talked about how to use the wasted biomass as a source of energy or added-value products
