Seminar – Martian crater studies from remotely sensed data


The seminar entitled “Martian crater studies from remotely sensed data” will be given by Dr. Lourenço Bandeira, on the 28th of April (Friday) at 4 pm.

Lourenço Bandeira is a Post-Doc researcher at IST, currently working on the development of automated methodologies for pattern recognition on images of planetary surfaces. In particular, major effort is currently devoted to the study of Terrestrial analogs for better understanding Martian structures.
