Cleyton Carneiro is a Geomatics Technician with emphasis on Remote Sensing by the Federal Center for Technological Education of Pará – CEFET-PA (2002). He graduated in Geology from the Federal University of Pará – UFPA (2003). He became a Master in Geosciences in the area of Metalogenesis by the State University of Campinas – UNICAMP (2005) and Doctor of Geology and Natural Resources by the same institution (2010), including a supervised period in the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Research Organization (CSIRO), Brisbane, Australia (2009). He has a postdoctoral degree from the Institute of Geosciences of USP (2014), with a post as Visiting Scientist at the U.S. Geological Survey – USGS (2013) in Denver, USA. He is currently Professor at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo – USP. He teaches Spatial Information and Geomatics classes to Petroleum Engineering students in the city of Santos (SP). He develops research activities in exploratory analysis and spatial data modeling, as well as in the processing and interpretation of data from multiple sources focused on natural resources.
