ProMAX training held in CERENA

Between September 10th and 13th, 2013, Halliburton sponsored a seismic processing training on ProMAX for the Petroleum Engineering MSc. graduate students and CERENA’s PhD and post-doc researchers.

The training was held at IST by Dan Rimmer and Gina Cracium and allowed for 10 graduate students and researchers from CERENA to learn how to use the leading edge seismic reflection processing software, Halliburton’s ProMAX. The training allowed the participants to acquire expertise in 2D and 3D seismic processing of both land and marine data. The expectations about these 4 days of training were more than achieved and allowed the development of new insights for research projects to be developed by the new graduate students.
