“Energy Challenges in Atlantic Islands – Technical Visit to São Miguel (Azores)”-KIC Added Value Activities

 

José Manuel Marques, Senior Researcher o CERENA, was recently involved in the KAVA (KIC Added Value Activities) “Energy Challenges in Atlantic Islands – Technical Visit to São Miguel (Azores)” for the MSc students of ENTECH and SELECT, during 15th-18th February, 2018. The technical visit to São Miguel was organized in collaboration with Electricidade dos Açores S.A. (EDA) and gave students the opportunity to learn about the challenges and solutions for off-grid regions. The collaboration of José Manuel Marques was related to one of his fields of expertise, namely the development of R&D activities on Geothermal Energy.
